LANGLEY, Anthony: It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Anthony Langley on Saturday, September 18th, 2021 peacefully at home surrounded by his wife Sheron, children, and grand-daughter Laniya. Anthony affectionately known as “Tony” by loved ones, was born in Bristol, England and immigrated to Canada as a young child. Tony was born on February 13th, 1963 to Delores and Lance Langley and is survived by his sisters Andrea and Georgia. In his early teens, Tony met Sheron, the apple of his eye and life partner whom he had three children with Jordon, Jade, and Jaylon. Tony was a fun-loving dad, and truly enjoyed being a father and grand-father. He will be sorely missed by his family and loved ones. Tony had a love for music and in the early 80’s was an up-and-coming rapper in Toronto, being featured in Now magazine with his co-MC Hugo. Tony and long-time friend Willie knew how to rock a crowd and played at various parties in Toronto with their sound crew Aquarius. After exiting the music scene, Tony worked at Marriott Hotel as an audio-visual technician for 18 years, with his work ethic earning him employee of the month on several occasions. Marriott is also where he met his dear friend Sandra. Sadly, Tony’s last few years of life was mired by illness and he was no longer able to work. Tony was a humble and jovial man who was often the life of the party and knew how to make people laugh. He always had an infectious smile on his face and joke on cue. He enjoyed watching basketball and soccer and had a love for dogs and cleaning his car. Anthony Langley will be deeply missed by his Aunt Avis and Uncle Carl, sisters-in law and brother-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. He can never be replaced and will live on through the wonderful memories he created with those left behind. Rest in paradise Tony.
