Silbert Keith Raymond, age 79, passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington, Ontario. He was born December 27, 1942, in Sunning Hill, St. Thomas, Jamaica, West Indies to Lorenzo and Meotha Raymond. He attended the Sunning Hill Primary School. He was employed to Good Year Tire Factory, St, Thomas, Jamaica for almost 48 years, upon retirement, Silbert migrated to Toronto, Ontario where he worked at K2 International Marketing Solutions, Mississauga until he retired in 2011. Silbert was happily married to Sandra Gore for 9 years. He was a loving, kind, humble, peaceful and God-fearing man. He attended the Mississauga Seventh-day Adventist Church where he was a Deacon. Silbert is survived by his wife, Sandra Raymond, 4 children - Sharon, Joan, Tracy and Kenisha Raymond; stepdaughter Lesley-Ann Guy; 8 grandchildren Tasha, Patrick (PJ), Cedenia, Odean, Candice, Trebrian, Nass and Jayla; 3 great grandchildren- Jahziah, Jahzariah and Amelia., 2 sisters Sonia Raymond-Brown, Texas (USA) and Janet Clachar, California (USA), 2 brothers Cecil and Anton (Shorty) Raymond, Sunning Hill, St. Thomas and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Virtual Funeral Service will take place at 2:00pm on March 25, at the Meadowvale Cemetery, 7732 Mavis Road, Brampton, ON, Pastor Mark Ewen will officiate.
