Gestures
Mrs.Simon was an amazing person, always taking care of the children at Peel Adventist school. She was truly special. Mrs. Simons cooking was the best! I love you and miss you, Mrs. Simon. I pray I will see you soon in heaven.
We were all deeply saddened to hear of the death of Mrs. Simon, especially our older son, Javon, who spent much time with her at CAA Peel Campus.
He loved Mrs. Simon's cooking (I don't know who didn't, from children to parents and staff) and loved going to her house.
She was a beautiful woman who absolutely loved the children in her care and all children. She showed kindness, compassion and was fun to be around. Her beautiful smile was very contagious. She went out of her way for the comfort of the children and did things she didn't have to, all in the name of love.
I will never forget going on a field trip to Chudleighs Apple Farm and while the children were seated and having lunch, Mrs Simon was fanning them so the flies and bees would keep away from them. All the while, forgetting her own lunch.
Thank you to her family, for allowing her to have children in their home before and after the before and after school programs at school. The work world of parents does not always match up to the school world of their children. All a part of the enemies plan. Mrs Simon always tried to accommodate emergency requests.
Mrs. Simon will be greatly missed. We have to remember though, that she is only sleeping. At the trump of God, "the dead in Christ shall rise first". With you, her family, friends and loved ones, we look forward to that blessed and joyous day!!!
