Obituary of Yolanda Amalia Caro

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Yolanda Amalia Caro Reyes. Born November 30, 1922, in Santiago de Chile, Chile. Yolanda passed away peacefully on March 7, 2022, at home in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. Yolanda lived a full and wonderful life. Her strong and fun-loving spirit touched the hearts and minds of all who met her. She was loved by all for her acceptance, kindness, and loving nature. Yolanda was friend to many in her two homes: Chile and Canada. In her later years she travelled throughout Canada, Europe and South America; her last trip outside of Canada was to Cuba in November 2021. She will be missed by her extensive family in Chile and Canada, as well as all the friends she met in her travels. She and Odilio Hernan Urzua Espinoza (decd. 2006) had 4 wonderful children: Max (decd. 2013), Patricia (sp.) and their two children and grandchildren. Maria, Osvaldo Guzman (sp.), and their three children and grandchildren. Yolanda (decd. 2021), Dennis Pillar (sp.), their daughter, and her two sons and their children. Mauricio, Erica (sp.) and their five children and grandchildren. Let us celebrate her 99 years of life as she dances a beautiful tango with her husband Odilio as they loved to always do. There will be a short visitation on Thursday March 10, 2022, between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM, followed by a private ceremony for immediate family, at Covenant Funeral Home, 2505 Eglinton Ave. E, Scarborough ON.
