Obituary of J'Nae Jodi Maria Francis Samuel

FRANCIS SAMUEL: It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved J'nae on July 5, 2022. J’Nae Jodi Maria Francis Samuel was born on March 16, 2002, to Velorne Samuel and James Francis in Barrouallie, St. Vincent & the Grenadines. The oldest of her siblings Javel and Jania, as well as her extended siblings Zaina and Shylah. J’Nae an alumi of St. Joseph Convent School in Kingstown, migrated to Canada in 2019 where she attended Crawford Adventist Academy graduated in June 2020 and was working towards her associates degree at Seneca college. J’Nae is loved by her family and held a special bond with her siblings and cousins. J’Nae is known for her hobbies of organizing, interior decorating which she loved. She was an avid writer and wrote a beautiful short story called ‘It Feels Right’. As a new driver she will be remembered for her passion for exploring, matching her adventurous spirt. Many people would know J’Nae for her sense of humor (very much like her mother, Velorne), charisma, and laughter that would light up a room. While sometimes she may have seemed to be reserved, those that were able to get to know J’Nae on a deeper level appreciated her wit, kindness, and authenticity. J’Nae will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Though J’Nae is physically no longer with us, her sweet soul lives on forever in our hearts and we will continue to cherish the memories we had with her until we meet again. Family and friends will be received at Shiloh Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1090 Bellamy Rd N, Scarborough, ON M1H 1H2 on Thursday August 11th, 2022 at 11:00AM until service time at 12pm. Burial will take place at Dickson Hill Cemetery 94-34 Dickson Hill Rd, Markham, ON L3P 3J3 2:00PM. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Covenant Funeral Homes Inc.
