Moses Richardson St. Juste

1942-2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Moses Richardson St. Juste, affectionately known as “Papa Moz”. He passed away peacefully at Centenary Hospital, Scarborough, on Wednesday July 30th, 2019 at 1:43 pm. His wife of 52 years, Melita, was at his bedside.

Moses St. Juste, of Pickering, Ontario was born on December 31st, 1942 in Vieux Fort, St. Lucia to Reynold St. Juste and Virginia St. Juste. In 1966, he married the love of his life, Melita St .Juste (nee Ernest), and together they forged a life. He was a devoted husband to his wife and a loving father to his children, Bertlyn St. Juste, McLean St. Juste (deceased), Jacqueline Ettienne, and Stennette St. Juste. His pride were his 11 grandchildren, Jamikko, Bijan, Trayl, Roge, Benne, Annoa, Cierra, Tres, Tauge, Skye, Kyroh and his 3 great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Liam and Tyson, all of whom he adored.  

He is survived by his wife, Melita; children Bertlyn (Yolanda), (Shevon), Jacqueline (Raoul), Stennette (Scarlet); siblings, Doris, Matthew, Martha, Litha, Esther, Cynthia, Timothy, Mable, Ezra, Julita, Jean, McCrain, and Kennedy; and many cousins, nieces, nephews.  He is predeceased by his son, McLean and brother, Dave.

Moses will forever be in our hearts and memories, and he will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives he touched.

Viewing will be held from 5-9pm on Monday August 19, 2019 at the Toronto East Seventh-day Adventist Church 4548 Sheppard Avenue East, Scarborough, ON. M1S 1V2.

Final Viewing and Funeral Service will be held from 11:00am on Tuesday August 20, 2019 at the Toronto East Seventh-day Adventist Church 4548 Sheppard Avenue East, Scarborough, ON. M1S 1V2 f

Burial to follow at Duffin Meadows Cemetery, Pickering. ON L1V 2P9.
