Coleridge Lamont Broomes
October 17, 1950 – January 28, 2021
Broomes, Coleridge - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the loss of our dear Patriarch on January 28th, 2021 at Trillium Hospital in Mississauga, Ontario Canada.
Coleridge Lamont Broomes was family man, an avid lover of jazz music, movie buff and enjoyed his travels around the world. He worked as a train operation at the TTC for over 30 years. He will be deeply missed by his children: Sergio Maynard, Natasha Broomes-Bennett and Samantha Broomes; His grandchildren: Lathia Davis, Jalani Broomes, Tyrese Maynard, Jordyn Bennett and his wife Catherine Wadden-Broomes. He will also be missed by his remaining siblings: Gloria, Rosita, Goulbourne and Lucille, many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Coleridge’s final wish was to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at Covenant Funeral Home in Scarborough on Wednesday February 17th, 2021. The virtual service will be live streamed at 11am. Please go to the Covenant

Unfortunately, due to current COVID regulations set out by the Provincial Government and at the direction of The Bereavement Authority of Ontario (BAO), the in-person memorial service will be limited to ten immediate family members only. However, the virtual live stream may be attended by family and close friends.
